Challenges of the OSCE MG about non-use of force are not targeted because of the rules of diplomacy, Ambassador of France to Armenia, Henri Reynaud, said at today's press-conference in Yerevan, when replying to the question, why the co-chairs always appeal to both parties, and do not specifically point at the Azerbajani party which violates ceasefire and makes bellicose statements.
"I understand the question, but I should say that the rules of diplomacy are not the rules of the media. And the OSCE MG co-chairs follow them", - Henri Reynaud said.
When commenting on proposal by President of France Francois Hollande to presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to meet in Paris, the ambassador emphasized that such an initiative requires favorable conditions for France, as a co-chair state of the OSCE MG, to be able to submit its proposals for settlement of the conflict.
When asked whether the statement by James Warlick on the return of 7 territories is a position of all three co-chairs, the ambassador replied that the process of talks should be based on the principle of confidentiality to be effective. "As an Ambassador of France, co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, I refrain from comments on the issue," he said.
