Armavia air company still has debts to Zvartnots Airport, CEO of Armenia International Airports Marcelo Vende told journalists on Saturday.
Armavia has gone bankrupt and still has debts to banks, partners and counteragents. The company owes to the Armenian Government almost 24.2bln AMD or $58mln (6.9bln AMD in taxes and 17.3bln in fines). Set up in 1996, Armavia was owned by businessman Mika Bagdasarov and flew 100 times a week to over 40 destinations in 20 countries.
