Ameriabank intends to increase its loan book in the Stepanakert branch by 10 mln USD within the next two years owing to SME lending and new retail products in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Chairman of the Management Board-General Director of Ameriabank CJSC Artak Hanesyan said during the opening of the upgraded office of the Stepanakert branch on September 8.
He said that the monthly growth of the loan book would be 500 thsd USD. At the moment, the loan book of the Stepanakert branch of Ameriabank is $15 mln. The share of corporate loans is 80%, and the share of retails loans is 20%. The Bank actively finances trade, industrial and agricultural enterprises in the NKR. "The corporate portfolio of the Stepanakert branch is well balances and diversified", he said.
The Financial Rating of the Banks of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) says that in Q1 2013 Ameriabank's loan portfolio exceeded 161 bln AMD. The interbank loans exclusive, the Bank's loan book is 156.5 bln AMD, of which 23% falls on industry, 24% - on trade and 16% - on SME.
