Police detain man suspected of beating MP Aram Manukyan

 Yerevan Police have detained a man suspected of beating Aram Manukyan, a parliamentarian, member of the Armenian National Congress opposition party, 


The Police press-service told ArmInfo, Arshak Svazyan (born in 1973) was detained at approximately 7:30pm on 14 December. Preliminary investigation has been launched. 
MP Aram Manukyan was beaten up in front of his home entrance on 11 December in the evening. ANC representatives claims the authorities are behind the incident.
