"Forcible Islamization of Armenians: Silence, Denial and Assimilation" a book by prominent Turkish historian, professor Taner Akcam has been published in Turkey, Akunq.net writes quoting Turkish media.
The book presents Akcam's articles on the given topic, where he tells about what made him inquire into the Armenian Genocide and forcible assimilation of Armenians.
According to the historian, there were four ways of forcible assimilation: forcible Islamization, temporary resettlement, collection on information on children and their transfer to Muslim families as well as forcible marriages of Armenian girls and women with Muslims.
