Newspaper: Official Yerevan offers Ankara a new

 Official Yerevan has offered Ankara a new 'road map' on normalization of the bilateral relations, a Yerevan-based Aravot newspaper writes citing a source at the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. The paper writes that the document was secretly transferred personally to Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu 10 days ago. It is noteworthy that Davutoglu is arriving in Armenia on 12 December to attend the meeting of the BSEC Foreign Ministers in Yerevan.

The paper writes that the 'road map' consists of three provisions saying that Turkey is required to:

1. recognize the Armenian Genocide and its responsibility publicly, and express regret to the Armenian people;

2. open the Armenian-Turkish border immediately and establish diplomatic relations with Armenia; 3. exert mediation efforts in the Karabakh peace process receiving a right to implement public programs to
prevent resumption of military rhetoric and incidents on the borderline, withdraw snipers, and prepare the peoples for peace.

"Davutogly is supposed to inform Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian of official Ankara's stance on Armenia's new 'road map' when he arrives in Yerevan," the paper writes.
