According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia (MES), as of 11.00am on March 31 there are heavy-going roads in the country.
All state and interstate highways of the republic, Tsilkar-Spitak, Alagyaz-Artik, Tigranashen- Zangakatun, the highways of Lanjap, Urtsalanj, Vardashat villages, the highways of Krashen village, Spitak turns, Vanadzor-Alaverdi, the highways of Jiliz, Shamlugh, Tsaghkashat villages, the highways of Meghri-Kajaran, Sisian-Goris, Vayk-Saravan, Berd-Ijevan and Dilijan turns are difficult to pass. Sotk-Qarvachar, Berd-Chambarak, Saralanj-Hankavan highways, Vardenyats gate and the highways of Artavaz, Zar, Nurnus and Bjni villages are blocked with snow. MES of the Republic of Armenia recommends drivers use winter tires. According to Emergency Situations Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia, Stepanstminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
