Newspaper: Unconscientious supplier inflicts damage worth several hundred thousand USD to Defense Ministry of Armenia

An unconscientious supplier has
inflicted damage worth several hundred thousand USD to the Defense Ministry of
Armenia.

Zhoghovurd newspaper reports that businessman Ashot
Sargsyan, one of the largest suppliers to the Defense Ministry, has been
arrested lately. He supplied equipment for the videoconference halls of the
Ministry. He is supposed to have sold the equipment to the Defense Ministry at
prices, which are much higher than the market value.   

Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Spokesperson for the Defense
Minister, says that the Defense Ministry itself has applied to the
law-enforcement agencies over this incident.
