We don't need peacekeepers, Armenian Defense Minister told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone is the only trouble in the world spot where there are no foreign peacekeepers. "As a result, the parties to the conflict have maintained the no peace, no war status for already 20 years. I think today we can also do this," Ohanyan said.
Concerning the bombardments of Armenian borderline villages, he said that the Armenian army is controlling the situation. "I keep visiting our borderline districts. In the next few days I will go to Tavush region. I think that for the time being there is no need to give arms to the people living there," Ohanyan said.
