"Rostelecom" company is not going to enter the mobile communication market in the near future, Director General of GNC-ALFA (Armenian subsidiary of "Rostelecom"), Hayk Faramazyan, said at today's press-conference.
"The company has got a license to offer telecommunication services and fixed telephone communication and is not going to enter the mobile market", - Faramazyan said.
He also added that just for a year of its activity in Armenia the company has got more than 10 thsd subscribers. This is a good indicator and is evidence of the fact that people trust in Rostelecom. As a token of gratitude, today Rostelecom gave notebook "Linovo" to its first subscriber of Internet communication.
To recall, GNC-ALFA is Armenian company of Rostelecom, started offering and providing its services in Armenia in December 2012 under Rostelecom trademark. The first office was opened in the town of Abovyan on December 18, the second in Ashtarak on Dec 24 and the third in Gyumri on Dec 28. The company has got a modern fiber-optic line which covers 80% of the territory of Armenia and has a length 2500 km. The rating agency Fitch gave rating "BBB-" to Rostelecom and Standard&Poor's - rating "BB+".
