The Ukrainian scenario is unlikely to happen in Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told journalists in Parliament, Wednesday.
"It is wrong to compare the actions of Yanukovich and his team with those of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia. Certainly, our opponents are dreaming to carry out a Maidan in Armenia, but I think it is not realistic", he said. Sargsyan added that the Armenian authorities have always come out for a constructive dialogue with the public and their political opponents. He stressed that the authorities have never concealed the economic problems.
He added that the Armenian people once saw the consequences of aggravation of the domestic political situation. So, the people's prudence is also a guarantee of stability today, he said.
