Armenia will continue its integration processes in the European direction and carry on with its reforms, Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who is in the Chinese city of Dalian on a working visit, said during today's meeting with Belgian PM Elio Di Rupo, press-service of the government reported.
Both officials presented the economic situation in their respective countries and outlined the expectations for the future.
Di Rupo informed Sargsyan that there are considerable positive signals for stabilizing the overall economic situation in Europe. Subsequently, the Belgian PM asked about the Armenia-European Union and the Armenia-Customs Union relations.
In this connection, Armenia's PM informed that the country will continue its integration processes in the European direction and carry on with its reforms. Sargsyan expressed a hope that Belgium likewise will assist Armenia in this matter. The prime ministers of Armenia and Belgium also touched on bilateral cooperation,
To recall, on 3 September 2013 President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said that Armenia decided to join the Customs Union and later the Eurasian Economic Union.
