The Electric Networks of Armenia CSJC (ENA) continues building a substation for the Teghut mine project in Lori region.
Head of ENA's Capital Construction Department Romanos Mkrtchyan says that the project needs an 80MW substation, which in its turn needs a 110KV power transmission line. The line will be 7 km long, with the cost of the project totaling 500mln AMD or $1.24mln.
"The project has been drafted jointly with an Armenian consulting company and has been discussed with the local government and population. We did our best to minimize its possible impacts on nature. As a result, it was approved by the Environment Protection Ministry," says Mkrtchyan.
The contractor of the project is EtsShinEntakayan, one of the biggest contractors in Armenia's energy sector.
