The signing of the treaty on Armenia's joining EEU by Serzh Sargsyan in Minsk, messed up the cards of the Armenian opposition, which could not decide what to offer the people during the rally at the Liberty Square, secretary of the ruling RPA parliamentary faction, Gagik Melikyan, said at today's press-conference.
'The leaders of the opposition three could not strictly present their goals and tasks. We did not hear any single position. If the leader of the Heritage party criticized signing of the treaty on Armenia's joining EEU, the leader of the Armenian National Congress, in fact, approved that, and the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party said nothing about it. I think that the society has understood that it is senseless to link hopes with opposition for resolving of the vital problems. Moreover, only the Heritage party and ANC were speaking about the power shift and PAP again preferred to keep silent", - Melikyan said.
He also added that he did not understand the format of the opposition either - first it was "three" and after joining of the People's Party of Armenia, it became "four". "I will not be surprised, if tomorrow it will become a duet", - he said with irony.
