I think Ukraine must recognize the Armenian Genocide, Ukrainian expert Alexey Golobutsky said in an interview to Analitika.at.ua, when asked to comment on the bill drafted by two Ukrainian MPs and stipulating the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Supreme Rada of Ukraine.
"The example of the Armenians shows how a national tragedy can unite a nation and make it even stronger," Golobutsky said.
"The Armenian Genocide has been recognized almost worldwide. Why shouldn't we do the same," wonders Tatiana Montian, a Ukrainian human rights activist.
