Artur Javadyan reelected Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia for six years.
Some 79 MPs took part in the voting, with 77 of them having supported Javadyan's candidacy.
Javadyan was nominated by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on May 16. His first term is expiring in July. Javadyan was born on Apr 22 1964. In 1986 he graduated from Yerevan Agricultural University.
Javadyan was first appointed as CB Chairman in June 2008. He is also Director for Armenia of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. Javadyan is married and has a daughter.
