Yerevan: The time has come for international community to call Baku to order by using specific measures

The time has come for the international community to call Baku to order and bring it back to a constructive track by using specific measures, Armenian Foreign 
Minister Edward Nalbandian stated at the Armenian parliament today. 

According to him in the current situation it is impossible to continue negotiations on Karabakh settlement, conditions should be 
created for that, first of all consequences of Azerbaijani aggression in early April should be overcome, as well as measures should be 
taken to exclude reoccurrence of such events in the future. "Currently our discussions are held on this issue. Our efforts 
jointly with the international community and Minsk Co-Chairs are aimed at this goal. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also 
stated about this. Prospects of negotiations depend on this", Nalbandian stated emphasizing at the same time that Baku's statement 
that the Armenian side walks out of the negotiations does not correspond to reality. We have always supported the settlement of the 
conflict via negotiations", Nalbandian stated. 

He also refuted the rumors spread by Baku that Lavrov has arrived in Armenia with a certain plan of Karabakh settlement. Nalbandian also 
considered Baku's attempts to put the ceasefire agreement of 1994 to question inadmissible. "This agreement has no time limitations and 
should remain in force this is the stand of the international community and the Minsk co-chairs. And this is another example when 
Baku opposes to the stand of the international community", Nalbandian stated. 

He also noted that Baku tries to avoid responsibility all the time pretending that it has not initiated the aggression, that it does not 
have information about the number of victims that it has not heard the co-chairs' call on the necessity to introduce mechanisms for 
investigating the borderline incidents, "But ignorance is no defense", the minister summarized.
