The breaking news in the domestic political field of Armenia is the upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Yerevan. Politicians are anxious about whether Putin will meet the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan on sidelines of his working visit in early December.
A Yerevan-based Hraparak newspaper writes that everything depends on how the leadership of Armenia will 'behave' at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius. Nevertheless, the paper writes citing a source close to Robert Kocharyan that a bilateral meeting with Putin is possible. Meanwhile, Serzh Sargsyan's minions rule out such meeting.
Official Yerevan has not announced yet who will represent Armenia at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius later this month. The paper writes, however, that Serzh Sargsyan will personally attend the Summit.
