The Collective Security Treaty Organization has shown moral support for Armenia, which is proved by its statements, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists on Wednesday.
"They are trying to influence both us and the Azeris so as to preserve peace in the region. There is no need for their interference for the moment as there is no threat to our security. As regards the Azeris' senseless aggression, I think not only the Collective Security Treaty Organization but all other international organizations must condemn it," Ohanyan said.
He said that he stressed the need to remove snipers and to build mutual confidence during all of his meetings with foreign ambassadors. "They perfectly realize this need. So, today we must urge the world community to be more active in preventing senseless deaths on both sides," the Armenian DM said.
