Representatives of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) held a march on occasion of the Human Rights Protection Day. The march started from the Liberty Square.
The members and the supporters of ANC carried flags of Armenia and banners "Where are the March 1 murderers?" "No Police Violence!" "Go Ahead Armenia without Serzh!" Veterans of the Artsakh War and supporters of Shant Haroutiunyan, the leader of Tseghakron Party, who was arrested following the clashes with the police on 5 November in the Liberty Square, also participated in the march. The Police and Deputy Head of the Yerevan Police Valery Osipyan accompanied the march.
Head of the ANC Faction in the Parliament Levon Zurabyan addressed those present saying that nothing will change in the country unless it "gets rid of Serzh Sargsyan's criminal regime." He introduced a resolution and message for the CoE Yerevan Office. Zurabyan said that he boycotted the extraordinary meeting of the parliament and failed to meet the US Assistant Secretary of State not to miss "the most important event that is taking place in the Liberty Sqaure."
