Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea refrains from forecasting the results of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.
Ambassador Hristea told ArmInfo he would not like to forecast whether any document would be signed with Armenia or not. He just said negotiations are currently underway and the situation will become clear when the negotiations are completed.
Traian Hristea does not share the views that the Armenia-EU relations have faced a crisis after Armenia's decision to access Russia-led Customs Union. He thinks that the relations continue to develop. Some difficult moments are possible in any relations, but these difficulties must be overcome, he said. At present, all the processes are transparent and the parties seek to find a mutually acceptable agenda.
The Eastern Partnership Summit will be held in Vilnius in late November. Armenia has not announced yet who will represent the country at the Summit. After Yerevan's decision to access the Customs Union, the EU declared further negotiations for the Association Agreement impossible.
