Stemming from the decision of the Constitutional Court dated 24 January about cancel of the two clauses of the law "On accumulative pensions" till 28 March, "I am against" initiative has called on employers to support their employees and not to keep back money from their salary to the private pension funds.
"The decision of the Constitutional Court dated 24 January means that the citizens obliged to make accumulative payments, from now on, do not bear responsibility for not making payments. For this reason, we call on employers to support their employees and not to keep back money from their salary to the private pension funds without a threat of administrative responsibility. If on 28 March the Constitutional Court recognizes the above mentioned clauses of the law contradicting the Constitution and invalid, in that case the employees will have irreparable financial losses, if money was kept back from their salary to the pension funds", - the statement of the initiative reads.
Meanwhile, according to Haykakan Zhamank daily, the State Revenues Committee headed by Gagik Khacharyan has already found the way how to collect money bypassing the Constitutional Court. In particular, a line about obligatory payments of the accumulative pension has suddenly appeared in the monthly calculation of the income duty submitted by employers. So, an employer which did not complete the line and did not submit calculation of the income tax, will break the law and hold liable.
