At least, one third of big companies in Armenia do not pass obligatory external audit, as their owners are oligarchs and high-rank functionaries.
According to the data of Finance Ministry, 941 companies are considered to be big. Their annual circulation exceeds 1 billion drams. They are obliged to pass external audit and publish their financial reports.
