Tbilisi. On December 21 the former ruling party of Georgia United National Movement (UNM) intends to hold a rally to support Ukraine's European integration in the central Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.
Rallies of supporters of Ukraine's European integration have been held in the Ukraine since November 21. They began after the government had made a decision to suspend association with the European Union. The meetings were enforced after Euromaidan had been dispersed on November 30 at dawn. Administrative buildings are blocked.
"UNM together with different NGOs, public groups will hold a rally to support Ukraine's European choice. Today Georgia's fortune is decided in Ukraine", oppositional deputy Giorgi Kandelaki stated at the briefing on Tuesday, December 17.
The deputies called on all citizens of the country to join the rally and express solidarity with the protestors in Ukraine.
