Tbilisi. On Monday, December 16, Prime Minister of Georgia
Irakli Gharibashvili arrived in Baku on the first working visit abroad. He met
with President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliyev, the press-service of the head of
the government reports.
On December 17, Gharibashvili will deliver
a speech at the conference, dedicated to signing of the agreement on funding of
the second phase of implementation of Shakh-Deniz project, which will be held
in Heidar Aliyev Center.
According to the information of
News-Azerbaijan Agency, Prime Minister of Italy, Foreign Minister of Great
Britain, governmental delegations of Greece and Albania, Minister of Energy of
Turkey, the European Union Commissioner for Energy as well as top managers of
many oil companies will attend the signing ceremony.
This is Gharibashviuli's first visit
abroad in the capacity of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
