Ex-foreign minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian told RFE/RL Armenia he seeks to establish a new political party.
He said the new political force will comprise among others several members of the Armenian Parliament and smart representatives of the progressive youth that will make up the key staff of the party.
After leaving Prosperous Armenia Party, Oskanian initiated a new political force. Some representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party who disagree with its current policy will probably join Oskanian's party. It is widely rumored that the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan will supervise the party. If the new political force enlists public support by the parliamentary elections of 2017, it may help Robert Kocharyan return to power.
