ԱՀՀ-ն ողջունում է Կոնգրեսում Հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի նամակը Քեսաբի վերաբերյալ

Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարը ողջունել է Կոնգրեսում հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի համանախագահներ Ֆրանկ Փալոնե կրտսերին և Մայքըլ Գրիմին, ինչպես նաև Հայոց Ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ բանաձևի աջակիցներ Դեյվիդ Վալադաոյին և Ադամ Շիֆին՝ Քեսաբի՝ վերջերս տեղի ունեցած պաշարման կապակցությամբ նախագահ Օբամային նամակ հղելու համար։ 


Մասնավորապես, նամակում ասվում է. ՙՄենք արտահայտում ենք մեր խիստ մտահոգությունը այն հավաստի զեկույցների հետ կապված, որ անցած շաբաթվա վերջին իսլամիստ ապստամբները,մուտք գործելով Թուրքիայի տարածքից, հարձակումներ են իրականացրել Սիրիայի Լաթաքիայի շրջանում, մասնավորապես Քեսաբ քաղաքում, որը գերազանցապես հայերով բնակեցված տարածք է։ Այսպիսի գործողությունները հանցավոր են և պետք է խստորեն դատապարտվեն՚։  


Ի լրումն Կոնգրեսում հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի նամակին, Թոմ Լանթոսի անվան մարդու իրավունքների հաձնաժողովի համանախագահ, կոնգրեսական Ջեյմս Մաքգավերնը այդ հարձակումները դատապարտող խիստ հայտարարություն է արել և կոչ արել հետաքննություն իրականացնել Թուրքիայի ներգրավվածության վերաբերյալ։ ՙԵս խորապես մտահոգված եմ այն տեղեկություններով, որ այս հարձակումները ենթադրաբար ծագել են Թուրքիայում և պահանջում եմ, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները և միջազգային հանրությունը այս պնդումների մանրակրկիտ ու համակողմանի հետաքննություն անցկացնի՚,- ասել է Մաքգավերնը: Մինչդեռ երեկ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի հետախուզության հարցերով մշտական  հանձնաժողովի անդամ կոնգրեսական Շիֆը ասել է. ՙԱլ-Քաիդայի հետ փոխկապակցված ահաբեկիչների դաժան հարձակումները Սիրիայի հյուսիսում գտնվող Քեսաբ քաղաքի հայերի և այլ քրիստոնյաների հանդեպ սարսափելի են՚։  Կոնգրեսում Հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի նամակը հաջորդում է Համագումարի՝ մարտի 24-ին նախագահ Օբամային ուղղված նամակին։ Վերջինում կոչ էր արվում. ՙՄիացյալ Նահանգների վարչակազմին ձեռնարկել անհրաժեշտ քայլեր ոչ միայն Քեսաբի քրիստոնյա հայ համայնքը պաշտպանելու, այլև բոլոր փոքրամասնությունների համայնքներին ՄԱԿ-ի հետ համատեղ պաշտպանելու ուղղությամբ: Ի լրումն, մենք կոչ ենք անում նախագահ Օբամային հրապարակավ հայտարարել, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները չեն հանդուրժի ՆԱՏՕ-ում իր դաշնակցի` ծայրահեղական խմբերին աջակցելու քաղաքականությունը՚։ 


Մարտի 26-ին Համագումարը վճռականորեն դատապարտել է Սիրիայում հայերի վրա հարձակումը։ Համագումարի նամակն ուղարկելուց օրեր անց, Համագումարի գործադիր տնօրեն Բրայան Արդունին և ԱՄՆ-ի Հայկական Եկեղեցու Արևելյան թեմի ներկայացուցիչ, արքեպիսկոպոս Վիգեն Հայկազյանը հանդիպել են ԱՄՆ-ի Պետքարտուղարության պաշոնյաների հետ՝ անմիջականորեն արտահայտելով ամերիկահայերի մտահոգությունները և ուրվագծելով այն քայլերը, որոնք Միացյալ Նահանգները կարող են ձեռնարկել քեսաբահայերին աջակցելու և պաշտպանելու ուղղությամբ։  ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարության ամենօրյա ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում  մամլո խոսնակ Մարի Հարֆը հայտնել է. ՙՄենք խորապես մտահոգ ենք վերջերս տեղի ունեցող բախումների և բռնությունների կապակցությամբ, որոնք վտանգի են ենթարկում Քեսաբում հայ համայնքին և շատերին ստիպում փախուստի դիմել՚։ Նա ասել է, թե. «Մենք որոշ հայտարարություններ ենք ստացել այն խմբերի կողմից, ովքեր կռվում են Քեսաբում, որոնցում կա պնդում թե նրանց թիրախը քաղաքացիները չեն և որ հարգելու են փոքրամասնություններին ու սրբավայրերը՚։ Հարֆը հավելել է. ՙՄենք հույս ունենք, որ այս պարտավորությունները կվերահաստատվեն։


Միացյալ Նահանգները կշարունակեն իրենց անսասան աջակցությունը նրանց, ովքեր տուժել են Սիրիայի և ողջ տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող բռնություններից, ներառյալ Սիրիայի հայերին։ Մենք վաղուց ենք մտահոգված վայրագ ծայրահեղականների կողմից իրականացրած սպառնալիքների կապակցությամբ, և Սիրիայում հայ համայնքին ուղղված այս վերջին սպառնալիքը միայն խորացրեց մեր մտահոգությունը՚։ ՙՄենք ողջունում ենք Կոնգրեսում հայկական հարցերով զբաղվող հանձնախմբի գործողությունը և կոնգրեսականներ Շիֆի և Մաքգավերնի հայտարարությունները՚,- հայտնել է Համագումարի գործադիր տնօրեն Բրայան Արդունին՝ հավելելով. ՙՀաշվի առնելով խնդրի հրատապությունը՝ մենք պետք է շարունակենք պայքարը՝ վստահ լինելու, որ Սիրիայում քրիստոնյա հայ համայնքը պաշտպանված է՚։ 


Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարը 1972 թվականին Վաշինգտոնում հիմնված և տեղակայված խոշորագույն համազգային հասարակական կազմակերպություն է, որն օժանդակում է հայկական հարցերի ճիշտ ըմբռնմանն ու լուսաբանմանը:
