Armenia should make use of improvement of relations between Iran and the West and develop economic cooperation with Teheran more actively, political expert, Gohar Iskandaryan, told journalists today.
Incidentally, since Hasan Roukhani's becoming the president of Iran, the Iranian party said about its readiness to deliver gas to Armenia for lower prices. "The new president of Iran has good vibes to Armenia. He is tuned to more rapprochement with Yerevan. As for the latter, instead of turning towards Europe, Yerevan should deepen relations with its closest neighbor. At present, as a result of weakening of international sanctions, the economy of Iran has started stabilizing. This opens wide horizons for cooperation", - Iskandaryan said.
The expert is confident that next year the role of Iran in the regional processes will grow even more.
