Armenia's Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan must be prosecuted for participation in the gas talks with Russia, the leader of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan told journalists on Tuesday.
"When you read the agreements it seems that they have been written by the Russians, while our authorities did nothing to make them at least a little compliant with our interests. Movsisyan and the whole Cabinet must be prosecuted for having kept us unaware of the huge debt they had to the Russians," Sargsyan said.
Member of Free Democrats Party Anush Sedrakyan believes that the gas agreements question not only the energy independence but the very sovereignty of Armenia. "Our authorities are pushing us towards complete destruction. The Customs Union is the worst choice for us. But I am sure that in 2014 that project will fall apart and we will no longer have to join it," she said.
