 Տպավորիչ է` թե ՀԱՊԿ անդամ Հայաստանն ինչպես է
գործընկերություն կառուցում ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ: Այդպիսի կարծիք է հայտնել Հայաստանում Մեծ
Բրիտանիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Քեթրին Լինչը մարտի 20-ին Երևանում ընթացող «ՆԱՏՕ և Հարավային Կովկաս՝ ռազմավարական մոտեցումներ տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությանը» միջազգային խորհրդաժողովում:


 


«Իհարկե, Ռուսաստանի հետ
Հայաստանի ռազմավարական գործընկերությունը, հանրապետության ՀԱՊԿ անդամությունը
հասկանալի է և տեղավորվում է ընդհանուր տրամաբանության շրջանակում: Սակայն կասկած
չի հարուցում նաև Հայաստանի ձգտումն առաջընթացի` ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ հարաբերություններում:
Խաղաղապահ բրիգադի ստեղծումը, հայ խաղաղապահների մասնակցությունն Աֆղանստանի
գործողութուններին, Հայաստանի պաշտպանական ռազմավարության վերանայումը` դրա վառ
օրինակ են», - համոզված է դեսպանը: Լինչն ընդգծել է, որ Եվրոպան բոլոր ուժերով հանդես
է գալիս Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանում հակամարտությունների կարգավորման օգտին,
հաշվի առնելով, որ դրանք խոչընդոտում են տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության
զարգացմանը, Չինաստանի և Եվրոպայի միջև էներգետիկ հանգույցի առկա ներուժի
բացահայտմանը:


 


Դեսպանի ասելով,
ժամանակակից Եվրոպան ձգտում է Հարավային Կովկասի առավել անվտանգությանն ու
բարգավաճմանը: «Չէ որ Եվրամիությունը զուր չի փորձում հաշտության և
համագործակցության հակել պատմական թշնամիներին, ակնառու է մեր երկրի և Ֆրանսիայի
օրինակը, որոնք երկար ժամանակ պատմական թնամիներ էին: Հենց այդ պատճառով Երկրորդ
համաշխարհային պատերազմից հետո ընկած ժամանակաշրջանում Եվրոպայի բոլոր հայացքներն
ուղղված են համաշխարհային խաղաղ գործակցության հաստատմանը, որն իր հերթին
նպատակաուղղված է մարդկային կապիտալի զարգացմանը», - ընդգծել է Միացյալ
Թագավորության դեսպանը:


 


Մարտի 20-21-ին  Երևանում SPECTRUM ռազմավարական  վերլուծության կենտրոնի կազմակերպած  «ՆԱՏՕ և Հարավային Կովկաս՝ ռազմավարական մոտեցումներ տարածաշրջանի անվտանգությանը» միջազգային խորհդրաժողովում Հայաստանի, Վրաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի, Ռուսաստանի, Թուրքիայի, Իրանի Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Իսպանիայի և Բելգիայի փորձագետներն ու հետազոտողները քննարկում են  տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության խնդիրներ, ՀԿ պետությունների համագործակցության հեռանկարներն ու զարգացման միտումները: Միջոցառումն ընթանում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի հովանու ներքո:
