Nobody in the South Caucasus needs a new war, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that a number of foreign players have energy and geopolitical interests in the region. "They may vary in their interests but hardly anybody of them needs instability in the region," Ohanyan said.
He is sure that today only Azerbaijan can start a new war. "So, irrespective of the global situation, we must always be ready to counteract. On the other hand, I don't think that Azerbaijan's local raids can grow into a big war," Ohanyan said.
