Շվեդիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կարլ Բիլդտը twitter-ի իր միկրաբլոգում գրել է, որ Եվրամիության հետ ասոցացման համաձայնագրի նախաստորագրման հարցում Հայաստանն օրակարգից դուրս է:


Նա նշել է, որ ինքը նման եզրակացության է հանգել Սլովակիայի փոխվարչապետ և արտգործնախարար Միրոսլավ Լայջակի հետ միասին: ՙՄենք հանգեցինք եզրակազության, որ այժմ Հայաստանի հետ ասոցացման համաձայնագիրն օրակարգից դուրս է: Մենք աշխատում ենք Ուկրաինայի, Մոլդովայի և Վրաստանի հետ՚, ընդգծել է նա: 


Հիշեցնենք, որ ԵՄ և Հայաստանի միջև ասոցացման համաձայնագրի նախաստորագրումը ենթադրվում էր առաջիկա նոյեմբերին Արևելյան գործընկերության Վիլնյուսի գագաթնաժողովում: Սակայն սեպտեմբերի 3-ին Մոսկվայում ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիրմիր Պուտինի հետ հանդիպմանը Հայաստանի նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հաստատեց  Մաքսային միությանը միանալու և եվրասիական տարածությունում հետագա ինտեգրման Հայաստանի մտադրությունը, ինչից հետո երկու երկրների ղեկավարները ստորագրեցին համատեղ հայտարարություն: 


Մաքսային միությունն ստեղծվել է ՌԴ նախագահ Պուտինի նախաձեռնությամբ Եվրասիական տնտեսական համագործակցության շրջանակում` որպես Բելառուսի, Ղազախստանի և Ռուսաստանի առևտրատնտեսական ինտեգրման ձև, որը նախատեսում է միասնական մաքսային տարածություն: Ընդ որում Մաքսային միության մասնակից երկրները կիրառում են միասնական մաքսային սակագին և երրորդ երկրների հետ առևտրի կարգավորման այլ միասնական միջոցներ:
