Armenia to start honey export to the countries of European Union

 Armenia is going to export honey to the countries of European Union. The Government of Armenia will issue certificates to honey exporters to the European Union (EU).

At its today's session the government approved the requirements being introduced to honey being exported to EU countries, the procedure for the issuance of health certificates for the export of honey, and the form of these health certificates.    

To note, Armenia exported 274 tons of honey that costs $24,7 thsd in the first half of 2013. The Armenian honey is exported chiefly to the USA and Russia.
