ArmInfo.The footage from Yerevan, published by Telman Gasimov, who presents himself in  Azerbaijani expert circles as a "military expert" and "Armenologist", was taken in 2017.This is stated in the message of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.

"Regarding the video released on December 5 of this year, by the  well-known and "serious specialist" Telman Gasimov, who presents  himself in Azerbaijani expert circles as a "military expert" and  "Armenologist",  the RA National Security Service informs that T  Telman Gasimov received the mentioned video back in November 2017  from dual citizen "A. K.," who recorded a video of the building where  T.Gasimov was "born and grew up" and sent it to him. 6 years later,  Gasimov edited this video, adding his voice to it, thereby trying to  sow panic in Armenian society and increase his "weight" among the  Azerbaijani audience."

 The NSS presented a screenshot of an excerpt from correspondence  from 2017.

The NSS calls on the media representatives and population of the  Republic of Armenia to refrain from publishing unverified and  unreliable information, as well as materials containing  falsifications disseminated by the Azerbaijani propaganda machine, so  as not to cause unnecessary tension and panic among the public. The  National Security Service of Armenia assures that the operational  situation is under complete control.

Earlier, Telman Gasimov stated that he secretly visited Yerevan and  even went to the house where he was born. As "confirmation", he  posted a video in which he can be heard speaking in Armenian.
