The governor stressed that engineering work is being carried out on both sides in the area of the village of Tegh, in some places the Azerbaijanis have retreated. Tuching on the damage caused to the villagers who have lost pastures and arable lands as a result of the Azerbaijani invasion near Tegh village, the Governor said that the government will pay assistance to those who are unable to access their territories. "I am convinced that Azerbaijan must to pull back to its initial positions," he added.
"In some places, I know that the Azerbaijanis have pulled back, but I can't sa give details on specific location and distance of withdrawal, because this section of the border is controlled by the border troops of the National Security Service, which do not report to me about the details. What I am saying are my assumptions," said the governor.
According to him, about 50 families in the village of Tegh have problems with the cultivation of their lands, because the opposite side interferes with this. "Azerbaijan must leave our sovereign territory, this is an unequivocal position," Ghukasyan stressed.
