"If Yerevan responds to the "constructive and sincere" calls of Ankara and Baku, long-term peace and stability will come to the region," he said, referring to the situation in the South Caucasus.
He also said that during the days of Gurban Bayram he had a very constructive telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"It is very difficult to achieve anything at the negotiating table if you are not strong on the battlefield," he said, citing Azerbaijan's 44-day aggression against Artsakh as a vivid example.
