ArmInfo.Yerevan hopes for the effectiveness of the dialogue started with Ankara on the normalization of relations. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in an interview with Al Jazeera TV channel.
Pashinyan noted that Armenia and Turkey started a dialogue through their special envoys. " We have started a dialogue through the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey. The dialogue itself is already very positive, but we hope to record tangible results.," the prime minister said.
Referring to the possibility of mutual visits, Pashinyan noted, in part: "I cannot say that we have not registered any results yet, because after the start of the dialogue, we started direct flights between Armenia and Turkey, but this is something that we had before. I hope that we will be able to establish diplomatic relations, open the border between Armenia and Turkey, which has been closed for 30 years," said the head of the Armenian Cabinet.
