Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Armenia Lynne Tracy stated this on January 27 at a meeting with Chairman of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan.
Arman Dilanyan highly appreciated the Armenian-American cooperation, constant work on the implementation of the bilateral agenda in the judiciary. According to him, the RA Constitutional Court has an ambitious agenda of internal reforms and is committed to its implementation, and the assistance of international partners, including the United States, will contribute to its successful implementation.
In turn, Ambassador Tracy stated that the U.S. administration is committed to continuing close cooperation with the Republic of Armenia in the areas of justice, the rule of law, and strengthening democratic institutions. In this context, Ambassador Tracy noted the importance of the process of internal transformation that has started at the Constitutional Court. During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for the implementation of joint programs.
