ArmInfo.Men are more willing to get vaccinated against coronavirus in Armenia. This is evidenced by the data provided by the Ministry of Health of Armenia. In particular, the source notes that out of 835 816 citizens vaccinated with the first component, 54.1% are men, respectively, 45.9% are women.
At the same time, 516 989 people received the second component of the anti-COVID vaccine, where the overwhelming majority are again men (54.8%). Coverage of the female half of those vaccinated with the second component is 45.2%.
It should be noted that as of December 6, a total of 1,352,805 people received the anti-COVID vaccine in Armenia.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 341,058 cases of infection have been registered in the country, of which 322,406 people (94.5%) recovered, 7,718 (2.2%) died. The number of active cases of the disease is 9,477 (2.7%).
