ArmInfo. Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting on Thursday with his Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau.
The ministers discussed the bilateral agenda and stated their willingness for practical steps to strengthen cooperation in the fields of mutual interest. Elaborating on regional security and stability, Minister Mirzoyan informed his Polish counterpart of the situation after the incursion of Azerbaijani troops into Armenia`s sovereign territory and recent aggression.
The Armenian FM stressed the need for a full recovery of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process within the OSCE Minsk Group. The sides discussed urgent issues, particularly repatriation of Armenian POWs, hostages and people detained by Azerbaijani troops.
Minister Mirzoyan congratulated Poland on its forthcoming OSCE chairmanship and expressed the confidence that Poland as OSCE Chair will take necessary measures to ensure peace and security in the OSCE responsibility zone
