ArmInfo. I don't think Armenia will consider the possibility of leaving the CSTO. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this, answering media questions.
The Prime Minister explained his opinion by the fact that the CSTO is also an important platform and channel for strategic relations with its ally Russia. "And we, as the chairing country, must work so that the CSTO has due participation in ensuring security in the region," he said.
At the same time, Pashinyan highly appreciated the role of Russia in ensuring the security of Armenia and Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh. "But we must be aware that Azerbaijan is not an enemy for Russia," he reminded. The Prime Minister stressed that Russia is a friendly and allied country also for Azerbaijan, which is the reason that the Russian Federation is not trying to find solutions using force.
