In turn, Lavrov noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation have regular talks at different levels, including at presidential level, despite the Coronavirus pandemic. According to him, it is the course of implementation of the agreements reached between the presidents of Russia and Iran during the August conversation that is to be discussed today. "A new area of our cooperation will be the accession of Iran as a full member to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The corresponding decision was made at the recent SCO summit in Dushanbe. And of course, the priority issue of today's talks will also be the need for a full-fledged renewal of agreements on the Iranian nuclear program without any exceptions or additions.
