ArmInfo.. Official Baku fully complies with the trilateral statement on Nagorno-Karabakh of November 10, 2020, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov assured on April 30 at a joint press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielus Landsbergis, who is on a visit to Baku.
He also assures that Baku responsibly fulfills all its obligations. "Positive work has been done to implement the trilateral statements. Azerbaijan also supports the normalization of relations with Armenia within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty, "Jeyhun Bayramov said, Interfax- Azerbaijan reports.
Bayramov again voiced the question of mine maps, complaining that since November 10, as a result of mine explosions, 22 people have died and 100 have been injured. The head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry cynically called on the world community to put pressure on Armenia on this issue, while forgetting that one of the points of the trilateral statement is the issue of prisoners of war, which Baku will not fulfill. Despite the presence of a number of proofs of the retention of Armenian prisoners of war by the AR, Bayramov, once again assured that Azerbaijan, within the framework of the trilateral agreement, returned all prisoners of war to the Armenian side. "I explained to the Lithuanian minister the realities that had developed after the 44-day war. We are concerned about some issues, and one of them is Armenia's claims to us regarding prisoners of war, "he said, adding that the persons sent to the Karabakh conflict zone after November 10, 2020 were rendered harmless as a result of an operation carried out by the Azerbaijani security forces and 62 people were detained. "A criminal case has been initiated against these persons, the investigation continues and their actions will be assessed in accordance with the laws of Azerbaijan," the minister said. But it is worth noting that only according to official data, there are about 200 Armenians in Azerbaijani captivity, according to experts, there are many more. During his visit to Yerevan, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister stressed the need for the immediate return of all prisoners of war.
