ArmInfo. The ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau made a new statement in connection with the internal political situation in Armenia.
So, in the received statement, the Bureau states that almost four months have passed since the last Karabakh war, however, many pressing problems of the war and its consequences during this period not only did not disappear, but also worsened, and new ones were added to the existing ones.
“Four months later, the problems related to captured and fallen soldiers have not yet been resolved. Arbitrary delimitation of borders by the Azerbaijani side is taking place in the conditions of absolute indifference of the Armenian authorities. To this are added incomprehensible deviations made in relations between Karabakh and Armenia and in terms of the sovereignty of Karabakh.
Moreover, negotiations are underway behind the backs of the people, the secrecy of which is already causing serious concern. There are rumors that between the Azerbaijani and Turkish sides, which yesterday carried out military aggression against Karabakh, as well as the Armenian government defeated, it is planned to carry out some possible economic and other dangerous deals, "the ARF notes. The Bureau also notes that the authorities are responding to the demand for the resignation of the Prime Minister with anti-democratic actions that suppress the free expression of the will of society. At the same time, the ARF is forced to note that the initiation of criminal cases against active figures, short-term mass arrests and the use of brute force have become the usual behavior of the authorities.
"These steps taken by the forces that have seized power, carried out under the slogans of democracy, civil society and the rule of law in the country, which directly lead to the formation of an authoritarian, police state, cause great concern.
The Bureau of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun, condemning the authorities for the situation they have created, calls on the latter to refrain from further aggravating the situation, to act only within the framework of the rule of law and democracy, to listen to the voices of the public and opposition forces that came out onto the square, as well as the President of Armenia, two Armenian Catholicos, a significant part of the diaspora, the intelligentsia, cultural, educational and other social groups and strata of society who made the same demands for resignation, and without delaying the time to resign from their post.
The leader, defeated by the enemy, rejected by the people and having lost real administrative and moral power, can no longer lead the damaged Armenian ship along the raging waves to a peaceful and prosperous coast. Only in this case it will be possible to achieve national solidarity, to restore order in state institutions and in the army, to start with renewed vigor the elimination of the military, political and other consequences of the war, to enter a new stage of strengthening and strengthening the Armenian statehood and Karabakh, "the statement says Bureau.
