ArmInfo. Armenian Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan said on his Facebook page that judges of the Anti-Corruption and Appeal Anti-Corruption Courts will undergo vetting. Badasyan, in particular, noted: "
There will be at least 25 judges in the specialized anti-corruption court, 20 of whom will consider cases of corruption crimes, and 5 of whom will deal with civil cases initiated under the law on confiscation of illegally acquired property." There will be at least ten judges in the Anti- Corruption Court of Appeal.
All appointed judges will be vetted. As a result: the speed of investigation of cases will increase and the efficiency of specialized investigation of corruption cases will increase>. To note, today the National Assembly in the first reading approved the bill on the creation of the Anti- Corruption and Appeal Anti-Corruption Courts.
