ArmInfo. During the monitoring carried out as part of the border demarcation process, problem cases were recorded. Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan stated this at a press conference.
"For example, the village of Shurnukh in the Goris community was divided by road transport into two parts: Azerbaijani and Armenian. And, the house and shed of the inhabitant of the village of Stepa Movsisyan were divided into two parts. <This is due to the fact that we use mechanical approaches. The process of defining the boundaries cannot be carried out mechanically>, the Ombudsman emphasized. According to the Human Rights Defender, various sections of the Armenian roads are under the control of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani flags and signs are installed there.
"Currently, 21 km out of 68 km of the road section from Goris to Vorotan, Shurnukh and Kapan is partially under the control of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani soldiers display posters and posters on the road with a provocative purpose, and regularly appear on these roads with weapons. <These roads connect our settlements. This problem arose due to the use of mechanical approaches>, concluded Tatoyan.
