For this category of drivers, stricter penalties will be applied. The authorities will also have the right to go to court to confiscate the vehicle of the most malicious offenders. At the same time, a person brought to administrative responsibility can appeal against this administrative act in court. The use of penalty points in cases of violations registered by the officers of the Patrol Service is directly related to the presence technical means of electronic registration and decision-making in patrol cars, which, in turn, must be provided with an online connection to the database of violations. It is planned to complete the formation of the Patrol Service in the first half of 2022. In this regard, it was necessary to amend a number of articles of the RA Code on Administrative Offenses in cases related to violations of traffic rules.
