To carry out a peacekeeping mission, almost two thousand servicemen, 90 armored personnel carriers and 380 vehicles will be deployed to the conflict zone. The core of the contingent is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Central Military District. The command of the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, which will manage the peacekeeping operation in Nagorno-Karabakh, is deployed in Stepanakert.
