ArmInfo. Deputy head of the National Security Service of Armenia Armen Abazyan stated that there is no any criminal case against former head of the department Argishti Kyaramyan. Abazayan announced this during a press conference.
The deputy head of the NSS noted that the country's leadership has the authority to dismiss the head of the NSS, but did not go into details. Abyazan stated that the information spread in the press regarding Kyaramyan is not true.
Moreover, the deputy head of the NSS of Armenia touched upon cyberattacks on the state system of Armenia after the outbreak of the war in Artsakh. "In total, about 700 cyber attacks were carried out. However, the National Security Service was able to provide all conditions for the normal operation of state sites and information systems," Abazyan stressed.
He also stressed that phonographies, videos, as well as misinformation were spread on the Internet, which contributed to the spread of panic in society.
"Thus, 245 such cases were recorded. At the moment they have been transferred to the Armenian police, the necessary work is being carried out," Abazyan concluded.
