The Washington Post: 52 mercenaries from Syria were killed in the  battles in the Karabakh conflict zone

It is also noted that the bodies of the  victims were handed over to their relatives on the Syrian- Turkish  border in early October.

It is worth noting that earlier Bashar al-Assad confirmed the fact  that Turkey uses terrorists from Syria and other countries to  destabilize the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was also stated  by French President Emmanuel Macron. In particular, he reported on  the transfer of 300 Syrian militants to Azerbaijan through Turkey.
